Celebrate the return of Spring by weaving your very own St Bridget’s Cross or Triskele symbol.

Making a St Bridget’s Cross is a custom in Ireland. St Bridget’s Day is celebrated on the 1st February each year and the crosses are made around this time.The St Bridgid’s Cross is traditionally made out of rushes for hanging above the entrances to dwellings to invoke the help of St Bridget’s in warding off disease and protect against fire.
