With Ronan Eastwood Céilí Caller
Join us at the Burnavon Theatre on Tuesday 9th March for some céilí dancing to live music from the Close Brothers under the guidance of Céilí Dance Master Ronán Eastwood. Attendees will dance a variety of simple Irish and Scottish Céilí dances and 2-hand dances. From the 'Waves of Tory’ to ‘The Peeler and the Goat’ or from a 'Harvest Time Jig' to the ‘Connemara Set’ or 'Gay Gordons' there is a dance for everyone to get involved and have a bit of craic.
Ronán has taught céilí and set dancing worldwide and was the lead instructor at both Belfast Tradfest and Fleadh Cheoil naÉireann 2026.
Don't worry if you haven't danced before as full instructions will be given. Tea / coffee shortbread served at approximately 2.30pm.
This event is part of the Seachtain na Gaeilge 2026 Festival and is suitable for all ages and abilities but may appeal to 50+ age group.
