“A farce so funny even the actors don’t know what’s happening”
After the sold-out success of The Snapper across theatre venues in Northern Ireland, Bardic Theatre are delighted to return to the Burnavon with the absolute rip-roaring, award-winning comedy that has had audiences in stitches worldwide.
Noises Off takes audiences on a hilarious journey behind the scenes of a touring play as it unravels in spectacular fashion. What begins as a straightforward farce quickly collapses into chaos, with missed cues, tangled relationships, flying props, and slamming doors, as both the onstage performance and backstage antics spiral completely out of control. As reality and performance collide, egos flare, tempers fray, and the show teeters constantly on the brink of disaster.
Fast-paced, physical, and brilliantly choreographed, Noises Off is a masterclass in comic timing and theatrical mayhem. A celebration of everything that can go wrong in live theatre, it’s an unmissable night of laughter from start to finish.
Noises Off by Michael Frayn, brought to you by the same creative team behind the recent successful productions of The Snapper and The Ferryman.
As befits a full-throttle farce, this production contains some robust language, mischievous sexual innuendo, and the occasional flash of partial nudity, all strictly in the name of comedy. Parental guidance is recommended for ages 12+.
