Deputy Chair of Mid Ulster District Council, Cllr Denise Johnston, attended the Sensory Skills Music Project exhibition launch recently at The Burnavon Theatre. During the 2025-2026 school year, Registered Music Therapist Áine Mohorič led a Sensory Skills Music Project which aimed to enhance and enrich the lives of the children who took part. The photographs on display in the theatre during April 2026 were taken by staff in the participating schools and captured the essence of the project.St Mary’s Primary, Maghera; Kilronan School, Magherafelt; Primate Dixon Primary, Coalisland; Dungannon Primary, Holy Trinity Primary, Cookstown; Sperrinview, Dungannon; Cookstown Primary and St Patrick’s Primary, Dungannon all took part in the project.
