Accessibility


The Burnavon is a Mid Ulster District Council venue.  If you have visited the Burnavon and would like to tell us how we could improve our services and further meet your needs please get in touch.  

Our Facilities 

Car Parking

The Burnavon is located close to all town centre car parks with direct access from the adjacent car park at Burn Road. The Burn Road car park accommodates six accessible parking bays with a further three spaces opposite the front entrance.  Please note accessible parking can only be used if you are a blue badge holder.

There are drop kerbs with rumble strips on the pavement leading to the Burnavon and drop kerbs in place at the main entrance.

Access

The Burnavon is fully accessible with a flat surface at the entrance and motion sensor automatic front doors.

Ground Floor 

Box Office is located on the ground floor with a lowered counter section.  An accessible toilet is available on this floor. 

First Floor

A lift provides access to the first floor. There is an accessible toilet on this floor.

Wheelchair Spaces

The Burnavon has six wheelchair spaces located at seats A1/A2; A24/A25; M1/M2; M3/M4; M22/M23; and M24/M25.  These can only be booked by contacting the Box Office. 

Loop Hearing

Portable hearing loop systems are in operation at the Box Office and first floor bar area. An infra–red hearing loop system is located in the auditorium.  Neck lanyard receivers are available from Box Office. Please ask any of our staff should you require this service.

Visual Impairment Facilities

Braille signage is provided on the lift panel. Assistance dogs are welcome. Patrons are asked to inform Box Office of any requirements at time of booking.
