This page tells you about how we use your information and applies to people who:
– Book tickets with us
– Subscribe to our season mailings (via post and email)
– Use our website
Once you book a ticket with us, a secure customer record is created to hold your details (name, address, telephone numbers and email address, if given). The record will also keep a list of the shows you book, and the mailings we send you. We use encryption software to protect your data and maintain strict security safeguards to prevent unauthorised access to it. Encryption means converting data such as your payment card number or home address into coded data to make it unrecognisable.
We take these details so that we can provide the service you have requested, contact you if we need to with regard to your booking, and let you know about events or shows that you may be interested in during future seasons. Please tell us at the time of booking if you do not wish to join our free mailing list and receive information about the Burnavon and related events. We will only pass on your details to other theatre organisations if you have given your expressed permission to do so.
We will only send you information by post and email if you have told us that you are happy to receive it. At any time you can request us to stop sending you information, either by letting Box Office or our Marketing Officer know, or in the case of emails clicking on the unsubscribe link on the most recent email you have been sent.
When someone visits our website we collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. We collect this information in a way that does not identify anyone.
The Burnavon cannot be held responsible for any acts of impersonation and will assume all information submitted is genuine unless there is reason to doubt its authenticity. Should you suspect a false entry has been made using your identity please contact Box Office on 028 8676 9949 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org
