MAKING MUSIC WORKSHOPS

Suitable for age 6yr+ with or without dance training
This year it’s all about shoes!!! Drawing on inspiration from the tale of ‘The Elves and the Shoemaker’, participants will have an unforgettable time creating a ballet with professional dancers from Ballet Ireland.
Summer school participants become part of the creative process, helping to devise the
choreography, create sets and costumes – including shoes! Our hugely popular summer school, gives aspiring performers a taste for all that goes into making a ballet and a peek into the life of a professional dancer.
Burnavon Writers Group meets fortnightly throughout the year Thursdays 7 to 9pm. A mix of tutor led workshops, guest speakers, special events and open writing sessions, there is much to learn and even more to enjoy.
